The Determination of Best Fishing Gear for Small Pelagic Fisheries at Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province

The potential condition of fishery sector is indeed quite large in Central Bangka Regency. majority fishermen Regency still use traditional fishing gear and simple technology. number units used consists 370 lift net, 1,085 gillnets, 129 bubu, 60 sero, 125 rods 4 beach seines with a fleet 1,767 (DKP 2019). These types need to be assessed for performance selected superior as form optimizing find out the strategy developing appropriate fisheries mining method collecting data on was carried by accidental sampling. samples taken according category were 20 58 gill nets, 8 3 10 1 seines. Based results standardization technical aspects, environmental social aspects economic analysis gillnets most developed VA = 13.26 which makes priority I. Priority II rod 12.87 III net 11.56.
